Reviews and Ratings
I stayed at this hotel and loved its great location next to Cobh, with easy access to both Spike Island and the Fota Wildlife Park. While the staff were incredibly accommodating and the food was outstanding, I found the rooms to be quite dated and not as clean as I had hoped. The pool area was a bit crowded, especially for families, but overall, it was still a nice experience and good value for money.
I had a delightful stay at this hotel, with spacious and comfortable family rooms that had some nice touches. The service was exceptional and the food was outstanding, especially in the hotel's Amber lounge and restaurant. The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from the wildlife park. However, the value for money could be better considering the price was a bit high for a 4-star hotel.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were very comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the swimming facilities. The location is fantastic, being close to various attractions. The only downside was that the service took a bit longer than expected when it came to specific requests. Overall, though, the experience was great value for money.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the area, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. However, the dining options left much to be desired, and the rooms, while massive, had some inconveniences. Overall, the hotel has great potential but has room for improvement in several areas.
The hotel has a lot of potential with its great views and very comfortable, large bed. The luxurious bathroom was a nice touch, and the breakfast selection was excellent. However, I found the rooms a bit shabby, which was disappointing given the price. The restaurant's service was lovely, but there was an unfortunate incident that could have been handled better. Overall, while the evening meal was superb, I don't think the hotel is worth the €290 per night.
The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with spacious and clean rooms, and I enjoyed the friendly staff who were very accommodating. However, breakfast could use some improvement as it was a bit underwhelming. The location is nice, but there were quite a few kids around, which made it feel less peaceful at times. Overall, it’s a pleasant stay with great value for money.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, as it was beautifully situated and offered amazing rooms. However, despite the lovely ambiance, I found the dining experience quite disappointing with inconsistent food quality. Overall, the service was attentive and the location near Cork Harbour is great for walks and nature lovers.
I had a relaxing stay at this hotel, thanks to the spacious and comfortable rooms, particularly the beautifully decorated space that added a romantic touch. The staff were generally accommodating and helpful, although service in the restaurant could be improved. The location is brilliant for accessing nearby attractions, but some areas could use a bit more charm. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, yet certain aspects like dining could use an upgrade.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, enjoying its beautiful setting and friendly staff. The rooms were quite spacious but a bit strange with the bed configuration. The service was top-notch, and I appreciated the quick access to nearby attractions. However, the cleanliness could have been better, especially with the tea tray left uncleaned. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a relaxing getaway, but just be aware of a few housekeeping misses.
I had a pretty good stay at this hotel overall, thanks to its clean and comfortable rooms and the friendly staff. The location is fantastic, close to a wildlife park and beautiful walking trails, but the dining experience left something to be desired with long wait times. The pool area was nice but could be a little cramped for families, which is a downside.
